Our Story

About iKonX

Built from the Inside. Not the Outside.

25 Years in the Making

iKonX was not born in a conference room or a pitch deck. It was built from 25 years inside the music and entertainment industry - watching, producing, and witnessing firsthand what the industry does to talented people who cannot access it.

The founder is not an outsider looking in. He is someone who spent two and a half decades inside the machine - producing music videos that accumulated billions of views, working directly with Grammy Award-winning artists, building live events, running enterprise media campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and billion-dollar brands - and watching the same problem repeat itself at every level: talented people losing income, opportunity, and access to gatekeepers who were never working in their favor.

iKonX exists because that problem finally has infrastructure.

Why iKonX Was Built

Every vertical in the iKonX roadmap came from a problem witnessed firsthand.

🎸

Artists & Fans

Working inside music video production means sitting in the room when a label negotiates a deal that leaves the artist with a fraction of what they created. It means watching an independent artist with genuine talent get passed over - not because the work was not good enough, but because they did not know the right person. It means seeing a fan reach out to an artist they love, sending message after message into a void, with no real path to connect. The artist has no direct line to the people who want to support them. The fan has no way in.

🎪

Events & Promoters

Working in live events means watching a promoter and an artist negotiate for weeks through layers of middlemen who add time, cost, and confusion to a deal that should take an afternoon. It means watching a venue need a performer and an artist need a booking, with nothing in between them except friction. Promoters want talent. Artists want stages. Neither can find the other without someone in between taking a cut and slowing it down.

🏷️

Labels & Managers

Working with labels means watching A&R scouts evaluate artists based on follower counts that can be bought rather than real booking data, real engagement, and real evidence of who is actually working and building a career. It means watching signings that should have happened never get made because the right signal did not exist. Managers spend months chasing opportunities that should take days - with no centralized place to handle bookings, grow rosters, or connect their artists to the rest of the industry.

🎛️

Studios & Podcasts

Studios sit half-empty while artists search for affordable session time with no idea what is available nearby. Podcasts want artist guests who bring real audiences, but booking one means weeks of cold outreach through publicists and managers who may never respond. The supply exists on both sides. The connection does not.

📸

Influencers

Influencers with real reach struggle to prove their value beyond vanity metrics. They want to work with artists, labels, and promoters - but without a centralized platform, every opportunity requires cold outreach and hoping the right person sees the message. The creators who move culture forward deserve a direct line to the industry that benefits from their reach.

🤝

Sponsorships

Brands want to attach to artists, events, and creators - but have no way to find the right fit without an agency in between. Sponsorship deals that should happen organically get buried under layers of gatekeeping, and the artists and creators who deserve those partnerships never even know they existed.

The problem was never talent. It was infrastructure. The music industry has always had enough talented people. What it has never had is a single place where every part of it connects - directly, transparently, and with the artist always at the center.

That is what iKonX is built to be.

The First Commerce Network Built for Music

iKonX is the first commerce network built specifically for the music and entertainment industry.

Not a streaming platform. Not another social feed. A marketplace - where real transactions happen, real money moves, and artists keep what they earn.

Before iKonX, booking a feature from a verified artist meant knowing the right person, reaching the right manager, or hoping a cold message somehow made it through. The music industry ran on word of mouth, personal relationships, and access - which is great if you are already inside it, and completely inaccessible if you are not.

iKonX changes that. Artists set their own prices. Fans and collaborators book directly. Every transaction is real, every connection is confirmed, and every dollar goes to the artist who earned it. No middlemen. No gatekeepers. No mystery.

Real Transactions Direct Bookings Artist-Set Pricing No Middlemen No Gatekeepers

Built for Artists

iKonX was built for the independent artist first. The one who is creating, grinding, and building a career without a label, a manager, or a publicist clearing the path ahead.

On iKonX, an artist does not need industry connections to get industry access. They create a profile, set their prices, and are immediately discoverable to fans, collaborators, managers, labels, studios, and every other professional on the platform - all looking for exactly what the artist offers.

The artist-to-artist connection is the heartbeat of the platform. An up-and-coming artist can find someone they have admired for years and book them for a feature - not through a manager, not through a mutual contact, but directly, through the app, with a confirmed booking and a real collaboration that follows. Every feature completed is a new audience reached. Every collaboration built is a relationship that extends both careers. Every booking fulfilled builds a track record that the entire platform can see - making the next opportunity easier to land than the one before it.

Artists on iKonX also get a live public profile page - a professional booking presence they can share anywhere they already have an audience. When someone clicks that link, they are not landing on a social media feed competing for attention. They are landing on a booking page - showing exactly who the artist is, what they offer, and how to work with them.

The artist is not waiting to be discovered. They are open for business.

What Makes iKonX Different

Most platforms are two-sided. iKonX connects the entire industry.

🎵
Artists
Live

The center of everything. Artists set their own prices, accept bookings from fans and collaborators, and build a verified track record that managers, labels, and promoters across the platform can see in real time. Every completed booking makes the next opportunity easier to land.

🎧
Fans
Live

For the first time, fans do not just listen - they participate. Book a feature verse, send a paid message that actually gets read, or connect directly with the artists who shaped their taste. Every fan interaction fuels the artist's visibility across every other vertical on the platform.

📋
Managers
2026

They never arrive alone. One manager onboarding means five, ten, or twenty new artists joining overnight - each one instantly bookable by fans, discoverable by labels, and available to studios, promoters, and podcasts across the entire network.

🏢
Labels
2026

A&R finally gets a real signal. Labels evaluate artists by actual booking volume, completion rates, fan engagement, and verified reviews - not follower counts that can be bought overnight. When a label signs an artist on iKonX, every studio, promoter, and sponsor on the platform sees it happen.

🎛️
Studios
2026

Session time, mixing, mastering, and production services - all bookable the same way a feature verse is. An artist books a collaboration, walks into a studio already listed on the platform, and records it - all inside the same ecosystem. The entire pipeline from booking to final master lives in one place.

🎪
Promoters & Events
2026

Every artist on the platform is immediately bookable for shows, festivals, and live appearances - no introductions needed. Promoters browse real booking data and verified profiles, lock in talent, and the artist's fan base on iKonX sees the event instantly. One booking feeds both sides.

🎙️
Podcasts
2026

Book artist guests for interviews and episodes directly - no publicist chains, no months of back-and-forth. When a podcast features an iKonX artist, that episode drives listeners back to the artist's profile, where fans can book, message, and connect. Content creates commerce.

🤝
Sponsors & Influencers
2026

Brand partnerships that connect artists with the right opportunities at the right time. Sponsors see exactly which artists are trending, which genres are growing, and which creators have real engagement - then book directly. Artists monetize their influence without needing an agency in between.

🎥
Videographers
2026

Music video directors, editors, and visual creators - bookable directly by artists, labels, and managers on the platform. An artist books a feature, records at a studio, and hires a videographer to shoot the visual - all without leaving iKonX. The full creative pipeline, finally connected.

📀
Distribution
2026

Release music through major distribution services directly from the iKonX dashboard. Record, collaborate, produce, and distribute - all from one platform. No third-party logins. No separate dashboards. One ecosystem from creation to every streaming platform on earth.

🏆
Athletes
Late 2026

Pro athletes, NIL creators, and sports personalities - bookable for features, appearances, and brand collaborations. When an athlete and an artist connect on iKonX, sponsors see it, fans engage with it, and promoters build events around it. Two audiences merge into one moment.

😂
Comedy
Late 2026

Comedians, writers, and performers join the network. Book talent for shows, podcasts, and content collaborations. When comedy meets music on iKonX, promoters build lineups, sponsors attach to events, and entirely new audiences discover artists they would never have found on their own.

Every vertical that activates multiplies the value of every vertical already active. The network does not grow linearly - it grows exponentially. A fan books an artist. That artist records at a studio. A videographer shoots the visual. A podcast features the story. A promoter books the show. A sponsor attaches to the event. One connection triggers ten more - and every professional who joins brings their own network with them.

Shane Brown

Entrepreneur / Executive Producer / Blockchain Developer / Platform Architect / Immersive Photographer

Shane Brown did not arrive in the entertainment industry through privilege, connections, or a fast track. He arrived the way most creators do - with a vision, no guarantees, and a willingness to work without recognition until the work spoke for itself.

What followed was not one career. It was five - running simultaneously, intersecting constantly, and ultimately converging into a single platform built to solve every problem he watched the industry refuse to fix for 25 years.

The thing about Shane Brown's career is that it cannot be summarized as one thing. Every chapter fed directly into the next one. That is not an accident. It is a pattern.

Chapter 01

College, Acting & Brotherhood

University of South Florida - graduating with a Business Administration degree and a Minor in Marketing. While building a business foundation, he simultaneously studies acting and formal performance under Kathy Laughlin - developing the instrument and craft of character development, storytelling instincts, and a deep understanding of the entertainment business that would define his work across every medium that followed. A proud member of Sigma Nu Fraternity - building the leadership, discipline, and sense of brotherhood that quietly inform how he thinks about community, loyalty, and what it means to build something bigger than yourself.

Los Angeles - The Decision That Changes Everything

Moves to LA with the goal of becoming an actor. After booking several projects, he makes a critical mistake and misses a major audition - his manager and agent drop him. Instead of chasing the next callback, he pivots. He writes a film based on his college experience called R_SH, only to learn that no one would invest in a first-time producer. Undeterred, he starts a production company and reconnects with one of his closest friends, Bill Posley - the writer and director who would go on to create the SXSW award-winning film Bitch Ass and write for Shrinking, Cobra Kai, and 9-1-1. Posley, one of the most talented creators in Hollywood at the time, gives Brown his first ever producing credit with the viral comedy "Waiter Anthem," followed by "Bromancing The Phone." Together, they shoot over 50 projects for free - a group of friends all in LA chasing the same dream of making it in the film industry. The trajectory shifts permanently: from actor waiting to be cast, to producer building the infrastructure for others to create and learning the business side of entertainment behind the camera.

Chapter 03

First Major Opportunity: Enrique Iglesias

Lands the first major professional engagement. Over the following years, produces five consecutive music videos for Enrique Iglesias - including the globally recognized LOCO featuring Romeo Santos, Turn The Night Up, and Finally Found You. The work expands beyond music videos into concert production - deepening hands-on experience across the full spectrum of live and filmed entertainment. No longer building a portfolio. Operating at the professional level of the major-label world.

Lil Wayne, the Stafford Brothers & Major-Label Scale

Begins working on Stafford Brothers ft Lil Wayne and Christina Milian "Hello" - expanding credits across hip-hop, electronic, and crossover projects at the highest level. The person ensuring every department delivers, every dollar is accounted for, and every production comes out exactly as intended. This era teaches more about the music industry's economics and internal dynamics than any business school could. Inside the machine - watching it very carefully. Every project during this period was mentored by award-winning producers Kasra, Director Yasha, and Tina - the three people who helped mold his career and were the driving force behind the ability to work on these projects. They remain mentors and close friends to this day.

Chapter 05

Beyonce, Parkwood Entertainment & 9 Grammy Award-Winning Artists

The most significant chapter of his production career. Working directly with Beyonce and Parkwood Entertainment, completing 7 projects for the Parkwood ecosystem - including Beyonce's concerts, the "Heaven" music video, and helping Parkwood oversee the careers and music videos of their emerging artists: Chloe x Halle ("Drop" and "Fall"), Sophie Beem ("Skyline"), and Ingrid ("Flex") - alongside an incredible crew of directors and DPs who elevated every frame and appreciated every detail of the work. Across this era, executive produces more than 50 music videos alongside 9 Grammy Award-winning artists, including projects with Fuse ODG ft Sean Paul, Parker Ighle "So Beautiful," Paloma Faith ft Sigma "Changing," Hilary Duff, and more. Productions that Shane has worked on have accumulated more than 7 billion views worldwide. But what stays with him is not the view counts. It is what he witnesses on every set: talented people losing income to intermediaries. Collaboration gated by access. Revenue flowing away from the people who created it.

#1 Google Trusted Photographer & Immersive Pioneer

Running in parallel - because Brown never operates in just one lane - he builds an entirely separate career as a world-class immersive photographer and 360-degree virtual tour creator. Becomes one of the #1 ranked Google Trusted Photographers in the country. 695 published 360-degree photos generating more than 29.2 million verified views on Google Maps. Fortune 500 companies, billion-dollar casino brands, major entertainment venues. Building a data-driven understanding of how consumers discover and engage - knowledge that directly shapes how iKonX is designed years later.

Chapter 07

Virtual Marketing 360 - VR Innovation & Enterprise Media

Formalizes the immersive media operation by founding Virtual Marketing 360. Becomes one of the first creators in the country to build a fully functioning VR live streaming platform. Tampa Bay Lightning, Live Nation, NCAA events, and major hospitality brands. Standing on keynote stages. At the table with billion-dollar brands. Building the technical and creative range that a platform founder needs - not just creative instinct, but systems thinking, client management, and the ability to execute at scale.

Chapter 08

ViZion Protocol - Blockchain, Trading Tools & Full-Scale Developer

The chapter that makes iKonX technically possible. Creates and founds ViZion Protocol - a blockchain and technology company built to merge blockchain, film, music, and entertainment into a single ecosystem. While the regulatory landscape continues to evolve, the vision remains clear: smart contracts, blockchain infrastructure, and decentralized payments will eventually become part of the iKonX platform once legal clarity arrives. Brown enters blockchain as a builder, not a speculator - learning the development side from the ground up, studying how to write code, build utility, and architect real systems since 2018, when Bitcoin was trading around $1,800. He develops and deploys automated cryptocurrency trading tools for his users. He teaches himself to code, build backend systems, and architect software from scratch. Not hiring engineers to execute his vision. Becoming the engineer.

This is also where a full-circle moment connects three careers and two decades of friendship. Tunde Laleye - lead actor of the SXSW award-winning film "Bitch Ass," directed by the same Bill Posley from Chapter 02, fifteen years later - becomes a co-founder and part of the ecosystem that leads directly to iKonX. The bond between Tunde, Bill, and Shane remains to this day. What started as a group of friends shooting projects for free in Los Angeles became a lifelong creative partnership - and many of the artists from that journey are now on the iKonX platform themselves, using it to connect, market, grow, and continue expanding their careers. iKonX was built for artists, by artists - because the people who built it wished it had existed when they were starting out.

"I watched talented artists lose income to intermediaries. I watched collaboration depend on who you knew rather than what you created. I built iKonX because I spent 25 years watching a problem no one had built infrastructure to solve."

Chapter 09

Tampa Bay Business Journal - 40 Under 40

Nominated for the Tampa Bay Business Journal's 40 Under 40 - recognition reserved for the region's most impactful young leaders across business, technology, and civic life. One data point among many that confirms what the body of work already shows: this is not a person who operates in one lane. This is a person who builds things.

ViZion Tech Bowl - Super Bowl Weekend Festival

Organizer, lead sponsor, and executive producer of the ViZion Tech Bowl - a three-day Super Bowl weekend music festival for more than 20,000 attendees. A convergence of entertainment production experience, blockchain and technology network, and the ability to operate at the scale of major live events. Not just producing events - building a network. And that network is about to need a platform.

Chapter 11

Spring Break Music Festival - The Ecosystem Takes Shape

Helps produce the Spring Break Music Festival featuring Murda Beatz, BlocBoy JB, Kalii, LaCro$$e, and major industry artists. This is the moment the iKonX ecosystem becomes fully tangible. The artists who perform here, the industry professionals who are present, the relationships built across years of production and events - all assembled in one place. The network already exists. It just needs infrastructure.

Sponsored and delivered by Laleye Studios and Tunde Laleye, the Spring Break Music Festival represents something larger than a single event - it is proof that the network iKonX was designed for already exists in the real world. Tunde believed in iKonX from the very beginning. He believed in giving independent artists a stage, a venue, and a moment to shine. Many of the artists who performed that weekend are now part of the iKonX platform - and the bond between the people who built that event and the people who are building this app is the same bond that has driven every chapter of this story: a genuine belief that talented people deserve access, opportunity, and infrastructure built in their favor.

Chapter 12

Two Years Building iKonX - Solo. From the Ground Up.

Armed with the development skills built through ViZion Protocol and a crystal-clear picture of exactly what the music industry needs - Brown begins building iKonX. Alone. No outside development team. No venture capital. No traditional runway. Built with the support of those who believed in him, who encouraged him, and who stood beside him during the hardest chapter of his personal life.

During the years he spent building iKonX, Brown was also fighting a legal battle to remain in his children's lives - a fight that continues to this day. He filed a federal lawsuit. He never stopped showing up. And in the middle of that fight, he built the one thing that would not only help an entire industry, but ensure his kids would one day see what their father was building for them while he was fighting to get back to them. iKonX is not just a platform. It is a promise - to his children, to every artist who ever felt unseen, and to every dreamer who was told the odds were too long. He is a proud father. And no matter what, he will do everything in his power to get back to them - while helping others, solving problems, and building something that matters. With love.
